This spot is visible from above so you will be easier to find if you have your weapons out. You should have no trouble to get in that spot but make sure you are not pressing your crouch key as you land or you will slide and fall!. The zipline going from Gauntlet to Airbase is right in front of you so be ready to react if people notice you. You can exit that hidding spot by climbing from the North side without trouble.

This spot is very safe if the zone is Airbase: no one should take the zipline from Gauntlet since they will be expecting people and do not want to be vulnerable. Teams walking North will probably not check that spot when they head towards Airbase. If there is a fight Gauntlet, should be safe even if you get scanned! People focus on the fight first and they forget you are here when they are done.
